I can't resist
These are a few pics I took when the kitties were only a few weeks old. (read following story first) Their eyes were still closed. It was so much fun for the kids and I and all the kids we knew. For awhile there we were pretty popular. I went out a few times in the morning and found a few kids in the dog-loo with all the kitties and the mommies. Bella and Sadie were very patient mothers letting everyone hold the kitties and get in there with them. When they were old enough we found good homes for all of them. It was hard for the kids but they got over it. Hopefully they will have another batch this spring (don't tell Rock I said that).

Oh my word! I cannot wait to show these pics to Jenna, she will fall in love with them. She loves animals. She wants to take her gerbil(sp)home from school over Christmas break, but I'm worried about our cat getting it. Wait until she reads this post, it will make her cry. She has such a tender heart...
I love your little picture of when you were little. I know the feelings you have of childhood warmth of love. It kinda changes when your an adult and reality sets in. At least we can love our kids and make life safe and warm for them.
