1. Flowers, flowers and more flowers. They are the best in making things outside beautiful.
2. Puppies and kitties. I guess it is more like springtime but we get to enjoy them thru the summertime. There is nothing like sitting on the deck in the evening petting a nice contented kitty (except if you are allergic I guess).
3. Going to the lake. Be it swimming (which I don't do-see http://kimosd.blogspot.com/2006/07/fishing.html ), boating, fishing or whatever, it is always fun to go to a lake.
4. Baseball and softball games. A great way for the kids to let off some steam and have some fun as well as getting to know our neighbors while eating sunflower seeds. That shows true neighborly-ness when you can eat sunflower seeds in front of them.
5. Camping. Need I say more, we love it. Especially in the mountains or in the hills (Black Hills). Awesome family together time.
6. Worm hunts (for the kids-gross!). I think it is self explanatory.
7. Going to the park, any park it doesn't matter. Always lots of fun.
8. Swimming in the pool (suit is optional, I guess). Loads of fun to be had by all.
Well, that's it for me. The rain has stopped and I am back to my post as the lifeguard. Got to get them nice and tired before it is time to head to bed. What are some of your favs?

5. i love your camper! oh my goodness. now that we bought one, i seriously ache to be at the campground instead of the house!
6. yeah, worm hunts and all things creepy...kids love it.
7. we've been combining the lake/park trips around here. we hit the state parks (we have two beautiful ones down here) in the evening and wear the kids out royally before bedtime.
8. LOVE LOVE LOVE that picture in the pool. it just gets no better than that!
The flowers are gerber daisys from last year. They are really beautiful.
I love your list. I don't think I could come up with anything better.
Love this post, Kim!
I would add to the favorites: going to the ocean, beach bonfires and s'mores, volleyball games with friends, camping, summer parties, and roses! I can't wait to swim naked in our new pool (jk about the naked part).
Love to you and yours!
Love the list Kim! The naked picture of Caden is classic! It always cracks me up that your boys don't have any tan lines! :)
I would also add outside barbecuing. Our grill gets way overused during the summer months. It is just so easy to keep the kitchen clean and through supper on the grill.
I love summer!!!!!
oops, I meant 'throw' supper on the girll!
I really do love our weekend time floating in the pool. It seems that's when at least one of the girls have been around to hang out. This summer I look forward to:
Time with Alicia and Alfred. It's always wonderful having them around.
We love to go watch a minor league ball game. The park is just a city away.
We hope to get a fire pit in the backyard this year for smores and more, yummy! I love sitting by the fire at night.
Can't wait to vacation with Lindsey and Beto in Texas.
Great pics, by the way!
Love the pictures and the list Kim!
Bonfires and ballgames would be on my list.
Great list! Love the Gerber Daisys! I also love just laying in my swing at night after the kids have gone to bed and enjoying the quietness all around.
